CoronaVirus Update 4th July 2020

Dear U3A Cardinia Members,
I would like to bring you up to date on the Corona virus situation. With the current situation worsening it has made it even more impossible to give you a date that U3A will return. The committee are meeting next week to discuss the situation. We regret that any decision we make will be influenced by local Government, Cardinia council and the Cultural Centre. We have been trying to contact and find out information from them, but so far, to no avail.
In the meantime we have 2 courses available through Zoom, live on the Internet.

1/. U3A Cardinia's very own camera club which meets online every 2nd weeks. Run by me.

This class has been very sucsessful with members currently at 10, there is room for another 8.

2/. Computers and other devices (tablets & phones) for Beginners, run by me, starting next Tuesday the 7th of July at 10 a.m. If successful it will run once a week. This course will be free as is the other one, until we return.

Barbara White has successfully setup her Book Group online. Her group is currently full. We done, Barbara.

These online courses are tuitive and fun. Assistance will be available to help you setup if needed.
Do give these some serious thought, these courses will put you in touch with other people and help alleviate being bored or alone. We will try and add more along the way. I realize these may not be your cup of tea but it is a chance to pick up something new and different and there's no fee.
